The Story

Suomi Tyres comes back with a new approach

A new chapter in the story of Suomi Tyres: The world-class expertise of DMACK Tyres combines with Nordic experience in winter conditions. DMACK's expertise, combined with Nordic experience in winter conditions, lays the foundation for a new era of Suomi Tyres.

This year, Suomi Tyres, known for its top-tier products, is ascending to the next level. This has been made possible by a change in ownership: Suomi Tyres will now be part of the DMACK Tyres corporate family, known for its cutting-edge technology.

Founded in 2009, DMACK has been previously known for its world-class tires, mainly in motorsports. Tires manufactured by DMACK have numerous WRC victories around the world. It has dealers in over 70 countries.

In World Rally Championships, success is not about relying on luck; instead, the testing and development of tire technology and performance are in DMACK's DNA.

And now, this DNA and know-how are also a part of Suomi Tyres. DMACK's goal is to offer high-quality, affordable tires for various levels of motorsport – and now also for bicycles.

Made in the land of snow

DMACK's expertise, combined with Nordic experience in winter conditions, lays the foundation for a new era of Suomi Tyres.

In Finland, nature is valued, and there's significant knowledge about winter. That's why Suomi Tyres has always used a Finnish non-toxic rubber compound especially suitable for winter use, as well as studs made in Finland, ensuring excellent grip even on the hardest ice.

– It could well be that Suomi Tyres' winter tires are already the best in the world, but we will continue to develop our products further so that our customers can continue cycling – winter or not, promises Dick Cormack, the founder and owner of DMACK Tyres.

From the North to the North

Local production is one of the things we at Suomi Tyres are proud of. Suomi Tyres tires are truly made in the Nordics, for Nordic people, from the rubber compound to the studs. This also means a smaller carbon footprint, as materials do not need to be shipped from, for example, Asia.

Suomi Tyres uses a non-toxic rubber compound, which is produced by our subcontractors Teknikum (FI) and Trelleborg (SE). The studs in our tires are made by Turvanasta Oy, operating from Turku.

"We are proud to manufacture our tires where they are also used: in the Nordics, in Finland," Cormack states.
