Suomi Tyres launches its first-ever summer tyre range

Suomi Tyres produced by Dmack, Europe’s only large-scale manufacturer of studded bicycle winter tyres, launches its first-ever summer tyre range at Eurobike 2026. Developed in Finland and manufactured at the company’s factory in Lieksa, Eastern Finland, the new range brings decades of Nordic tyre expertise to summer riding.

 

From icy roads and frozen trails to extreme Nordic winters, the company has developed tyres for riders who refuse to compromise on reliability, safety and performance. This expertise is particularly relevant in the growing cargo bike, SUV and longtail segments, where Dmack has developed its Impact rcB2 range.

Now that expertise is expanding beyond winter.

“Nordic winter is the ultimate testing ground,” Dick Cormack, CEO of Dmack Nordic Oy says. “If we can build tyres that can perform in Nordic winter, we can build tyres that can perform anywhere. That’s the philosophy behind our first Suomi Tyres summer tyre range.”

 

Built in Finland. Proven in extreme conditions.

The new tyres are manufactured at Dmack’s factory in Lieksa, one of Europe’s most unique bicycle tyre manufacturing facilities and the only bicycle tyre factory in Finland.

The factory combines the heritage of the former Nokian bicycle tyre business with Dmack’s engineering expertise and rally tyre heritage. The result is a tyre range designed to deliver dependable performance in real-world riding conditions.

Shimano Nordic acts as the exclusive distributor of Suomi Tyres in the Nordic region.

As demand for European-made products continues to grow, Dmack is investing in expanding its Suomi Tyres portfolio and production capacity at its Lieksa facility, while strengthening its position as a premium European tyre manufacturer.

 

Built-in sustainability and transparency

Alongside performance, the new Suomi Tyres range reflects Dmack’s’ commitment to responsible manufacturing and transparency.

The company is fully aligned with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), uses responsibly sourced natural rubber and incorporates recycled carbon black into its tyres as part of its long-term sustainability programme.Beginning in 2027, Dmack will introduce RFID-based traceability technology across its Suomi Tyres range, enabling materials to be traced back to their source.

“Performance and sustainability should not be competing priorities,” Cormack adds. “We believe the future belongs to manufacturers who can deliver both.”
