Instructions for fitment of tubeless-ready tyres

For a tubeless setup, you'll need:

  • A rim and rim tape that are tubeless compatible
  • A tubeless valve
  • Tire mounting fluid and sealant
  • A high-pressure pump or an air compressor

Begin by fitting the tire onto the rim as usual. Be cautious not to damage the tire bead when using tire levers! Then:

1. Apply mounting fluid to both tire beads before inflating.

Make sure the valve is positioned between the beads as you inflate the tire.

2. Make sure the valve is positioned between the beads as you inflate the tire.

3. Use a strong burst of air (with a track pump or compressor) to seat the tire on the rim the first time you inflate it.

You may hear a popping sound when the tire seats correctly on the rim.

Next, let the air out of the tire, remove the valve core, and add 60 ml of sealant (30 ml for road bikes).

Don’t exceed a maximum pressure of 2.7 bar for the tire and rim!

Note: This setup can also be used with inner tubes as usual! If you get a puncture, insert a standard inner tube: first remove the tubeless valve and clean off any sealant.
