Non-Toxic Winter rubber compound

Suomi Tyres is a pioneer in eco-friendly tire production. Since 2005 ecofriendly rubber compounds have been used in production. We were the first company to introduce ecofriendly low-aromatic LA-oils in bicycle tires. LA (low aromatic) oils can help to replace high aromatic oils.

The rubber compounds are clearly more expensive, but the PAH-compounds drops remarkably. As shown in tests the harmful compounds are so low that the oil is no longer carcinogenic.

The rubber compounds represent a big part of the productions cost, but we think that it is important to use clean and eco-friendly rubber compounds as part of our production.
