Non-Toxic Winter Rubber Compound

Suomi Tyres is a pioneer in eco-friendly tire production. Since 2005, eco-friendly rubber compounds have been used in production. We were the first company to introduce eco-friendly low-aromatic (LA) oils in bicycle tires. LA oils can help to replace high aromatic oils.

The rubber compounds are clearly more expensive, but the PAH-compounds drop remarkably. As shown in tests, the harmful compounds are so low that the oil is no longer carcinogenic.

The rubber compounds represent a big part of the production cost, but we think that it is important to use clean and eco-friendly rubber compounds as part of our production.
