The Piikkisika Tube Type tire is a modern winter mountain bike tire that offers groundbreaking performance.
The tire's pattern is specially designed for mountain bike tires, and the studs are arranged so that the maximum number of spikes touches the ground at every moment. This ensures consistent grip across different parts of the tire.
The Piikkisika tire's frame, designed specifically for winter conditions from a special rubber compound, effectively protects against punctures and adapts to freezing temperatures.
The winter-appropriate tread, combined with aluminum crown-tipped hard metal studs (up to 408 pcs!), ensures the best grip on the market. The number of studs can be up to 408.
The stud sockets are molded into the tread pattern during the casting phase, setting this tire apart from competitors: this ensures the stud sockets are precisely shaped, and the stud does not come loose during use.
The tire's edge cable is made of durable triple-wrapped steel.

The studs have the highest levels of retention from Suomi Tyres unique and revolutionary winter compound molded stud cavity system, retaining up-to 408 studs for maximum winter off road and commute riding.
This folding bead version gives added protection with its e25 e-bike ready construction an additional central nylon rubberized belt and extra sidewall protection rubber strips for puncture resistant.
The folding aramid bead provides tubeless and sealant fitment for ultimate riding.
